Established in 1981, we focus exclusively on software and licence provision, and boast considerable expertise in the complex subject of educational software licensing for schools, universities, HE and FE institutions, charitable bodies, students, teachers, lectures and independent learners of all ages.

With our expertise and close working relationships with numerous major software vendors, we advise customers of the most economical route to acquire software. We provide free basic pre- and post-sales telephone support, and our friendly and professional staff are just a phone call away.

We ensure that our staff have the most up-to-date industry and vendor training and qualifications. Pugh Computers is an accredited Microsoft Gold Partner and an Adobe Education Licensing Centre, we’re also accredited to the ISO 9001 quality standard. In recent years we have featured several times in the Fast Growth 50 index of Wales’ top companies.

We are committed to continual improvement of our services. We have recently invested in a new dynamic website which will facilitate e-procurement, and a customer relationship management system which ensures we can monitor our key performance indicators and rapidly identify corrective action when problems are encountered.

Based near Aberystwyth in Wales, Pugh Computers has a deeply ingrained ethic of social and environmental responsibility, and is very supportive of staff activity within the community.

Where possible, we use advanced web conferencing and training software to conduct our business activities with suppliers and customers all over the country, thereby reducing our carbon footprint. Modern technology also means that our staff are able to work from home or have more flexible working hours, should their family commitments require it.
